The penultimate episode of the Strictly Come Dancing competition – a Blackpool special – topped the UK chart. In the US, it’s a tradition to watch the football match after the Thanksgiving feast but there was also holiday programming with a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special. Just missing out on a place in our US chart at #22 was a primetime repeat of last year’s Thanksgiving episode of crime series Rosewood which reportedly tripled the show’s average audience in the 18-49 demographic, thanks to a handy lead-in from a regular-season NFL game, playing to a holiday audience over 35 million, that ended just as primetime was beginning.
