Ash, Kip and Luttsy have smashed the commercial breakfast market with share up 1.8 to 13.4%. They are on a similar share to ABC Brisbane, but Nova is 3.3 points ahead of the SCA stations who share second spot commercial. 97.3 10.7% (-1.2)

It’s been a rollercoaster ride for stations in the market in past 12 months. Just when you thought the market had settled too! (The market never settles, right?) Breakfast with Bianca, Terry and Bob lost 1.9 to share second place commercial alongside Triple M on 10.1%. Morning suffered biggest hit down 2.1 to 11.4%, also the same share as Triple M! 97.3 surrendered leadership 40-54 with share down 3.6 to 16.3% and Triple M the new champ.

HIT 105 10.5%(+0.4)

Good survey with share a little higher into double figures. Breakfast was steady with morning, afternoon and drive all growing. Share 18-24 surged 4.5 to 26.9% with Hit the new #1, narrowly ahead of Nova.

104.5 Triple M 10.3% (+0.3)

Share edged higher at other SCA brand too. Breakfast was steady, holding over 10%. Morning was up 0.3 and drive up 1.4, just before the arrival of new Mick and Jane drive show. Notable demo moves – 25-39 was up 4.2 to 15.0% while Triple M is new 40-54 champ on 17.5%, overtaking 97.3.

4KQ 8.7% (+0.9)

Biggest mover in the market with breakfast (+1.0 to 8.4%) and afternoon (+1.3 to 8.2%) rallying the audiences. Morning (9.4%) and weekends (10.3%) have the biggest shares. Key demos on fire – 55-64 up 2.5 to 17.7% and 65+ up 3.2 to 20.3% where 4KQ overtook 4BC this survey.

4BC 5.3% (-0.5)
