ESPN secures Triple Crown

ESPN Australia/NZ has acquired live rights to the US 2015 Triple Crown races. ESPN will be home to the most popular and historic races on the US horse racing calendar. The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness Stakes and The Belmont Stakes.

The first and most famous race in the Triple Crown, The Kentucky Derby, often referred to as the most exciting two minutes in sports, comes to ESPN2 live Sunday May 3 at 6am with encore at 7pm. The Preakness Stakes will follow the Kentucky Derby, live on ESPN2 Sunday May 17 at 6.30am with encore at 9pm and The Belmont Stakes will air live on ESPN2 Sunday June 7 at 7am, encore at 7pm.
