Outdoor Media Association (OMA) Chief Executive Officer Elizabeth McIntyre has been appointed to the Board of the World Out of Home Organisation (WOO), strengthening Australia’s representation on the global Out of Home stage.
McIntyre is one of two new directors joining the WOO Board, alongside Felipe Vianta, President of the Brazilian Out-of-Home Association. The announcement follows the World Out of Home Congress in London, where Australian campaigns took three awards and a special mention for creativity and innovation.
WOO President Tom Goddard said the new appointments added significant depth to the board’s international perspective.
“WOO regularly rotates its board directors, and we are very fortunate in being able to recruit such high-quality new members as Elizabeth and Felipe. The WOO board now has a truly global reach, and this will be an important strength as we move forward,” said Goddard.
McIntyre’s OMA tenure
Since joining the OMA and MOVE in April 2023, McIntyre has overseen considerable growth for the industry body. OMA membership grew to a record 60 members, the OMA Creative Awards were established, and the OUT There series – which places senior marketers and creative leaders in cars to tour standout Out-of-Home campaigns – was launched under her watch.
A major milestone came in March 2026 with the launch of MOVE 2.0, a data-rich audience measurement system described as a new currency for the Out-of-Home sector.
McIntyre said she was honoured to join the WOO Board at what she described as a pivotal moment for the global industry.
“Out of Home is evolving faster than ever, and Australia has an important role to play in that global conversation. I’m particularly passionate about ensuring more women see a place for themselves in this industry.
“Representation matters, and I hope this appointment encourages more women to step forward, lead boldly and shape the future of Out of Home,” said McIntyre.
