The Better Homes and Gardens Creator Awards 2026 winners have been revealed, spotlighting Australia’s most inspiring creators across craft, design, food, sustainability and beyond.
Held at the State Library of New South Wales, the event brought together creators, innovators and community builders, with global marketplace Etsy joining as a partner to support a new multi-platform content program.
People’s Choice goes to Emma Higgins

Emma Higgins and her partner, Jake.
Weekend renovator Emma Higgins was named People’s Choice winner, recognised for her relatable renovation journey shared alongside her partner, Jake.
Her content resonated strongly with audiences, reflecting the growing demand for authentic, behind-the-scenes storytelling in the home and lifestyle space.
A platform for creators and community
Megan Osborne, editor of Better Homes and Gardens, said the awards play a key role in how the brand connects with audiences.
“These awards recognise creators who are not only incredibly talented, but who are building loyal communities, sharing practical knowledge and inspiring Australians,” she said.
The program generated more than 12.3 million in social reach and over 5,000 public votes in the lead-up to the event.
“Beyond that, the program plays an important role in shaping the future of Better Homes and Gardens, bringing together the best of creators and editorial to inform the content we produce across all platforms and deliver greater value for our readers and commercial partners,” she added.
