BBC Global News and travel technology platform, TRAVLR, have announced a partnership to create a new travel marketplace Discover Beyond.

The new destination is aiming to be an inspirational consumer travel marketplace that enables BBC audiences to discover, plan and book experiences through hundreds of activities, mix and match flights and hotels and carefully crafted travel packages.

Initially launching in Australia and New Zealand, Discover Beyond is a new digital travel service that draws on the editorial inspiration of BBC Travel, the global features site of BBC.com and the industry expertise of TRAVLR-powered technology, to bring BBC audiences curated travel packages focused around culture, food, discovery and adventure.

Users will be given exclusive access to curated itineraries that are directly inspired by BBC Travel Journeys, bringing beautiful stories to life and transporting them to the heart and soul of a destination.
