ARN has appointed Melissa Verner Green as Director of Sales – Melbourne, adding another senior executive to its commercial leadership team as the company continues to expand its national sales offering.
Verner Green joins ARN with more than 20 years of experience across media, digital, technology and advertising, having held senior leadership roles at Fairfax, ARN, SCA, Nova and Meta.
Most recently, she spent a decade at Meta Australia, where she worked on commercial strategy, AI-driven marketing adoption, first-party data integration and measurement solutions with major agencies and advertisers.
ARN Chief Sales Officer Richard Hunwick said Verner Green’s return to the business would strengthen ARN’s commercial leadership as it continues to expand its offering across audio and digital platforms.
“Melissa’s appointment brings world-class capability to the business. Melissa is one of the most respected commercial leaders in media. The market knows her well, and we are delighted to welcome her back to ARN,” Hunwick said.

He said Verner Green’s experience across radio and digital media would be particularly valuable as ARN builds a more integrated entertainment and advertising proposition.
Having led major partnerships and helped bring new technologies and commercial models to market throughout her career, Hunwick said her track record of driving growth at scale would be an asset for both the business and its clients.
“Her passion and deep domain experience in radio, and her depth of digital experience, are a powerful combination. Her unique skill set will be an enormous asset to our team and our clients,” he said.
Returning to radio
Verner Green said the role offered an opportunity to combine her experience in digital media with her background in radio.
“Over the last 10 years, I’ve immersed myself in how brands, agencies and platforms connect in a digital world, but radio is my first love, and now feels like the perfect time to step back in and bring my two worlds together.
“ARN’s plans using radio, live streaming, podcasting, social and digital video are exciting, and representing the KIIS, GOLD and iHeart brands through this next phase of growth is a fantastic opportunity. I can’t wait to get started.”
The appointment comes as ARN continues to invest in senior commercial talent and broaden its offering across radio, streaming, podcasting, digital and live experiences.
Based in Melbourne, Verner Green commenced in the role today.
