AANA names Mehra Jehangir as director of member engagement and events

Appointment of Mehra Jehangir to Director, Member Engagement & Events at AANA

Jehangir replaces previous director, Emma Logan.

The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has announced the appointment of Mehra Jehangir as its new director of member engagement and events. The news follows the announcement of the departure of Emma Logan, the previous director of member engagement and events, in September of last year, 2023.

Jehangir joins AANA from Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where she served  as vice president, business development, managing clients across various sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, and technology.

Prior to this, she held the position of regional director at GlobalData Plc’s Sydney office, overseeing a client portfolio from FMCG, retail, packaging, and other industries within the Australia, New Zealand and broader Asia Pacific region.

In the position, the industry body will seek to leverage Jehangir’s experience in client management and business development to rejuvenate AANA’s member engagement. Jehangir, in turn, aims to strengthen and broaden AANA’s reach, prioritising an exceptional member journey.

Mehra stated, “I’m excited to bring my experience and passion to strengthen and grow AANA’s reach and deliver an extraordinary member experience. I can’t wait to be part of the AANA community, connect with our members, and make a big positive contribution to our industry.”

AANA attested the appointment signals its commitment to strengthening its ties with members and fostering a vibrant industry community, emphasising how Mehra’s passion for brands, go-to-market strategies, marketing, and business development aligns with its objectives.
