Seven pits Aussies against Brits in new SAS showdown

The season will be filmed in Morocco.

Seven is set to launch a new instalment of its reality franchise, SAS: AUS v ENG, bringing together seven Australian and seven British celebrities for a selection-style challenge in Morocco.

The network says the series will air “coming soon” on Seven and 7plus, with a premiere date yet to be announced.

Who is in SAS: AUS v ENG?

The Australian lineup includes Olympic gold medallist Mack Horton, Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm, former cricketer Brad Hodge, stage and screen performer Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney, musician and actor Axle Whitehead, and reality TV personality Jessika Power.

The British contingent features Dani Dyer and Gabby Allen from Love Island, social media personalities Cole Anderson-James and Jack Joseph, rugby player Ben Cohen, Gladiator and Olympian Toby Olubi, and former international cricketer Graeme Swann.

What’s the format?

Seven said recruits will be put through physical and psychological tests drawn from the real SAS selection process, including endurance challenges, sleep deprivation, interrogation and other stress-based exercises.

The training will be overseen by Chief Instructor Mark “Billy” Bilingham, alongside directing staff Jason “Foxy” Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver.
