Nova has remained comfortably in the top spot, and despite an 0.5% fall overall it has come in more than a full percentage point ahead of its closest competitor, 96FM. After briefly losing the top spot to Mix 94.5 in survey 5, Nova reclaimed the crown in survey 6 and are looking to keep it that way.
In more good news for Nova, the breakfast show of Nathan, Nat and Shaun is once again #1 again with a 13.1% share.
Nova also continues to dominate drive. The national program of Kate, Tim and Joel has seen a 2.1%  dip, but after pulling a massive 15.6% share in the last survey, they’re still firmly on top despite the slide.
The battle for control of the weekends has seen Nova pull ahead in this survey. In survey 6 Nova just topped 96FM by 0.1 points, but they’ve now widened the gap to 0.5, bringing in a share of 12.3%.
Nova still has a #1 share in the 10-17 and 25-39 demographics, but since the last survey has picked up #1 for 40-54 and #1 commercial station for 18-24.

After posting its lowest 10+ and breakfast shares in over five years in the first survey of the year, ARN’s 96FM bounce back has slowed a little. It’s the first survey all year that has seen the station’s share dip, going down 0.8 points for a total of 11.4%.
In better news, 96FM saw a cume audience of 450,000 – the most in the station’s 41 year history.
In their fifth full ratings survey together, the breakfast show The Bunch with Dean Clairs and Lisa Shaw saw a drop of 2.2 points. After a spike in surveys 5 and 6 – including the show’s highest share so far of 11.7% in survey 6 – The Bunch has come back down to 9.5%, almost identical to its survey 4 result of 9.6%.
The station was also the #1 commercial station in the mornings slot and a close second on weekends. 96FM is also #1 in the 55-64 demographic.

After claiming the top spot in survey 5, the Hit Network station fell to second place in survey 6 and has continued to slide in survey 7, with a 1.4% dip seeing it come in third.
Coming second to Nova’s breakfast team in every survey so far this year, Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba hasn’t managed to break the curse just yet, still sitting in second place after falling 1.0 point to 10.9%.
The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little also stayed steady in second place to Nova, with a dip of 0.9 bringing them to a share of 12.4%.
In the afternoon slot, however, Mix 94.5 is tied with Nova as the #1 ranked station.
Mix performed best with the 10-17s, with a 16% share of that demographic.

6PR has remained the #1 commercial station for the 65+ demographic.

This is the station’s seventh survey after changing over to Triple M from the Hit Network. Compared to its predecessor, Hit92.9, this would be the equal lowest share in over 5 years.
The breakfast team of Basil, Xav and Jenna – led by Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas – gained 0.7 points, bringing it to a share of 5.8%.
The station’s strongest demo remains 18-24 where it has a 9.9% share, down 1.5 points.
