We Are Different makes senior hires and commits six figures to training

We Are Different

The changes are aimed at strengthening leadership capability and supporting growth.

Independent earned-first creative agency We Are Different has appointed a new senior leader, promoted an existing executive and committed a six-figure sum to staff development programs.

The changes are aimed at strengthening leadership capability and supporting growth across the agency’s PR, social and influencer divisions.

Founder and Director Stuart Terry said the focus remains on building capability across the business.

“When teams are supported, challenged and trusted, it shows up in the work,” he said.

“We’re offering clients an agency culture where ambitious people at all levels are empowered to do the best work of their careers. Partners feel that in the passion of the team, the quality of the thinking and the great results we achieve together.”

New appointment and promotion

Jenna Orme has joined as Head of Difference. She brings more than 18 years’ experience across business leadership, integrated communications and crisis management, and was previously Managing Director at TBWA’s FleishmanHillard. Orme joins the agency’s senior leadership team.

Siobhan Veddovi-McCaughan has been promoted to Group Performance Director. Since joining in January 2024, she has worked across consumer tech, travel and food and beverage accounts. In her new role, she oversees earned-first creative output, client partner excellence and team development as part of the senior leadership team.

Helaina Young has also joined the agency as Performance Executive from Alt/Shift in a newly created role within the earned division.

Six-figure investment in training

The agency has also announced a six-figure investment in staff development initiatives.

The Coaching Culture program provides all team members with access to executive coaching, including one-on-one and group sessions. It is led by former One Green Bean CEO Claire Salvetti.

Culture Club focuses on cultural and creative immersion to inform client work, while Different Academy combines hands-on learning, live client briefs and applied AI capability as part of its internal training model.

Terry said the investment is intended to strengthen long-term client outcomes.

“People investment is our competitive edge,” he said. “It’s fundamental to doing work that earns attention, builds trust and delivers real commercial impact. Our clients benefit from teams that combine craft excellence with a genuine desire to do things differently.”

The appointments and training initiatives take effect immediately.
