UnLtd celebrates its successes in its FY22 full-year report

This year the organisation reported a social impact of $58 million and more than 300 companies supporting the cause

UnLtd has shared the highlights of its impact on how the media, marketing and creative industry supported young people at risk in its FY22 full-year report.

This year, the industry’s social purpose organisation reported a social impact of $58 million, as well as 5,100 hours of volunteering, 5,250 event attendees and more than 300 companies supporting the cause.

Among the creative campaigns that brought the industry together is Boys do Cry with The Hallway. UnLtd noted that the campaign reached over 160 million people, with 51% of viewers increasing their intention to seek help for mental health difficulties.

The industry organisation took a stand against bullying with Mediacom securing over $8.7million of media inventory across 31 generous media owners to support Dolly’s Dream. The campaign reached over 60% of Aussies, delivered a 100% increase in donations and raised major awareness for the important work that Dolly’s Dream do to fight bullying.

Through UnLtd ‘s partnerships, events and charity grants program, the organisation has helped fund critical programs for their charity partners supporting children and young people at risk. Among them are The Pinnacle Foundation, LeaderLife, Down The Track, MMAD and Mirabel Foundation.

Looking at volunteering, UnLtd noted that the industry gave more than 3,900 skilled volunteering hours and 1,100 of general volunteering. This included gardening, cooking for the homeless and using their marketing skills for good.

The industry’s social enterprise, Mood Tea, was launched in June at 865 Woolworths stores nationwide. All profits from the product go to fund youth mental health projects. Among the projects funded was the training with programs by batyr and The Sebastian Foundation.

UnLtd ran a slew of industry events and activities across the country – such as the Big Kahuna, Hoops for Good, indoor soccer and golf – to raise funds and awareness for youth at risk.

UnLtd said: “To everyone who has supported us this year, this impact couldn’t be possible without each and every one of you.

“Whether you joined one of our events, used your skills for good, donated media inventory or auction prizes or helped spread the word, you’ve all made a huge difference. Thank you for your support.”
