1,317,000 watched Nine’s The Block as a debate about the size of the army working on landscaping on house one dominated most of the episode, up 39%.

926,000 viewed Seven’s Home and Away which centred around the fictional band Lyrik with screentime for Alf and Justin too, up 23%.

786,000 also saw Seven’s SAS Australia as nine recruits remained and the halfway mark of the series was reached, up 35%. 

559,000 sat down for Old People’s Homes for Teenagers, up 32%.

478,000 tuned into 10’s The Cheap Seats with guests including Rhys Nicholson and Max Rushden, up 12%.

Nine won Tuesday night with a primary share of 20.2%; however, Seven took out the top network share with 27.9%. 7Two has won multi channels with a 3.7% share.
In addition to this, Seven received a primary share of 18.6% and Nine a network share of 27.5%. Ten took an 11.8% primary share and a network share of 17.8%.

Nine’s A Current Affair (639,000) spoke to former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke who broke his silence about the infamous and ugly video dust-up with his then-girlfriend that circulated online back in January this year.

Then, 650,000 tuned in for The Block as it continues to dominate prime-time entertainment. The Tuesday episode was down from the 684,000 that watched on Monday and it was a flurry of chaos for almost all of the contestants! Steph and Gian faced a major dilemma as their scaffolding couldn’t be moved and Lesley and Kyle offered their landscaper Troy to new pals Kristy and Brett who fired their contractor the week priorMeanwhile, Liberty and Eliza had a miscommunication with their builder about budgets, leaving them in the red and Lesley and Kyle were shocked when House Four only offered $5,000 for their coveted gnome. 

218,000 then watched a repeat of Paramedics as Nat and Leonard headed to a hotel pool after a romantic escape ended in disaster for a young mum and Eamon and Mike treated a traumatised child attacked by a dog.

410,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away as Irene pushed Harper and Dana away and Felicity was caught out in her lie. 

Viewers then stayed on for SAS Australia as seven recruits remained. While, 413,000 tuned in on Monday, on Tuesday, 426,000 watched on as actress Zima Anderson was medically withdrawn after a fall on the course. She sustained a small fracture to her right elbow and wrist and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, Olympic diver Matthew Mitcham admitted he had damaged his relationship with his constant lies. “I’ve been a really selfish person in relationships. And I feel so ashamed for the immense hurt that I caused someone for 11 years, who stayed with me throughout my entire addiction,” he told his fellow recruits during the Setting Fire to Shame exercise.

121,000 also watched another episode of HMP: Behind Bars.

On 10, The Project (174,000 6:30pm / 281,000 7pm) welcomed La Toya Jackson via satellite who was unmasked as Burger Gal on Monday’s episode of The Masked Singer Australia. The panel also spoke to newly-appointed co-hosts of I’m a Celeb Julia Morris and Robert Irwinwho revealed that the series has “vowed to cease all use of wildlife in the show. The entire consumptive use of wildlife is done. All the eating trials still continue, but it’s with sustainably farmed animals.”

Following on from Monday’s 349,000 / 490,000 (Reveal) numbers, The Masked Singer Australia saw 331,000 watch on with 401,000 tuning into the Reveal on Tuesday. Orca flipped her last fin as Sheppard band member Amy Sheppard was unmasked. She revealed she has been doing a solo country music project and decided that she “wanted to discover who I was as an artist outside the band.”

The Cheap Seats then followed as hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald were joined by Mel Tracina, Red Wiggle Murray Cook and Olympic champion Lydia Lassila. 371,000 tuned in.

ABC

448,000 watched ABC’s 7.30 explore an increase in the cost of smoking that has coincided with a growth in the tobacco black market. Sarah Ferguson also interviewed Cheng Lei and a debate has opened up over the future of special schools. 

Following this, 363,000 watched Take 5 with Zan Rowe. Australian icon Jimmy Barnes took us on a journey through the music that built him before 326,000 sat down for the wholesome Old People’s Home for Teenagers. It was Mobility Week for our teens and seniors, who were exposed to a variety of surprising activities designed to boost their health and fitness.

Australia After War was up next for 137,000.

The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Great British Railway Journeys with 127,000 tuning in to see Michael Portillo continue his railway exploration of the post-war Britain of his youth on a journey from London to Cambridge.
