Nine has won the night with a primary share of 17.7%. For overall network share, both Nine and Seven are tied on 25.8%. Topping multichannels was 7mate with a 4.1% share.

A Current Affair exposed a ride-share creep and interviewed the mother and daughter sleeping rough because their home is making them sick for an audience of 620,000. Beauty and the Geek locked in its final pairs and took 409,000 into the world of high fashion ahead of the makeovers beginning tonight. 

On Seven, 444,000 took a trip to Summer Bay with Home and Away. Pulling out the dancing shoes, ABBA vs Queen brought in an audience of 414,000 as the show interviewed band members, producers, and the people who knew the two iconic bands.

The Project (260,000 6:30pm / 410,000 7pm) covered the approval of the Moderna vaccine for under 5s, and invited former foreign minister Julie Bishop on to the show to speak to refugee Moz Azimitabar – who was detained while Bishop was in power – about his court case against the Federal Government. Hunted kicked it up a notch, with 569,000 tuning in to see Jess and Erina-Lea‘s life on the run reach its end after a heart stopping capture, before The Cheap Seats drew a crowd of 396,000.

On the ABC, 7.30 covered the growing number of people suffering from long Covid, and the latest report that says Australia’s environment is in a “poor state” for 474,000 viewers. The ABC Of took Garry McDonald back through his life for 444,000, before Miriam Margolyes: Australia Unmasked launched to an audience of 341,000 as Margolyes went to Tasmania in search of the Aussie fair go.

The highest rated show on SBS was Who Do You Think You Are? which had 237,000 tune in.
