Seven

Home and Away was the top prime time entertainment program last night with an average of 530,000 viewers as the Aussie drama gets close to its midseason finale.

The AFL had 423,000 viewers as Geelong hammered Fremantle 100-31. The match was the top non-news program last night in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.

The Project had 290,000 (6:30pm) and 404,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered the spread of the Sydney Covid outbreak, the different vaccines used around the world, and Britney Spears’ ongoing battle for freedom.

Keeping the Thursday night slot warm ahead of The Bachelor’s return next week was 10 News First Presents Diana’s Decades which focused on Princess Diana‘s life in the ’80s, which had 213,000 viewers.

ABC

The ABC’s new Thursday night combo had one of its better nights with Foreign Correspondent bringing in 399,000 viewers as the show covered Mongolia’s nomadic herders and the potential effects of climate change on their lives.

This was followed by Q+A with 354,000 which is one of its highest rating episodes of the year. The show once again did not feature Hamish McDonald as guest host Virginia Trioli was live from Melbourne with guests that included radio stars Steve Price and Meshel Laurie.

SBS

The top programs on SBS were a repeat of Great Asian Railway Journeys with 190,000 followed by the Tour De France with 187,000.
