TV Guide: State of Origin Game 1 on Nine and 9Now

State of Origin

• State of Origin I will be broadcast tonight exclusively on Channel Nine and 9Now from 7.30pm AEST. 

State of Origin returns for the 2022 series on June 8, at 8:10pm on Nine and 9Now. This will be the first series since the retirement of Ray Warren, with Matt Thompson leading the commentary team in his stead. 

The only way to watch State of Origin in Australia live is through the Nine Network, with the match not being shown live on Fox League or Kayo as per regular NRL matches.

The only way to stream the match online is through 9Now. It’s a free service but you will have to create an account if you don’t have one.

A replay is scheduled to be on Kayo at 11:05pm (AEST). The broadcast will be using a Fox League commentary team for the match, 

The broadcast will start at 7:30pm (AEST), about 45 minutes before kick-off. The broadcast will then lead into the game with pre-match analysis and interviews, as well as the entertainment and national anthem ceremony. Coverage is expected to cotiue until 10:30pm (AEST), allowing for a half-hour post-game show, which will include the man of the match award.

For radio optios you can listen through either ABC Grandstand, Triple M or 2GB.
