Hot-prospect light-heavyweight Paulo Aokuso (2-0-0) will go up against Peruvian fighter David Zegarra (35-8-1)

Also fighting in the main card are:

Sio Siua Taukeiaho vs. Jaiman Lowe, heavyweight
Ty Telford vs. Joel Taylor, welterweight
Liam Talivaa vs. Louis Marsters, heavyweight
Wade Ryan vs. Koen Mazoudier II, super-welterweight

At the weigh-in on Tuesday, Paul Gallen was not shy about his plans for Hodges in the ring. “I want to hurt him. He and his (Maroons) mates broke my heart a lot of times, particularly over that eight-year period (of Queensland dominance). That’s definitely added motivation,” he said in a report by Yahoo.

“But I get to take him out tomorrow night on his own. That will be the best thing. He’s got no friends around him. He’s got no one to help him. He hasn’t got any 110kg front-rower going before him and tiring me out and slowing me down and fighting me first.

“He’s only got me and that’s a huge advantage for me. If I do what I can do and fight the fight I want to fight, he’s no chance of beating me,” Gallen added.

Meanwhile, Hodges said at the weigh-in: “I am just trying to stop him, six rounds haven’t gone that deep ever so I need to put him away, and that’s what I am trying to do,” as reported by Fox Sports.
