TV Guide: It’s Football fever this summer for Paramount+

There will be over 140 live matches in January

January marks an almost non-stop roster of football games playing out on Paramount+. The streaming platform is is kick-starting 2024 and bringing subscribers over 140 live matches in January.

The network has a roster choc full of international and local football this summer, plus Subway Socceroos and key A-List fixtures are playing out on Network 10.

Below are some of the landmark events.

Emirates FA Cup

The knockout tournament is open to any club from the premier league. The third round is exclusive to Paramount _ and there will be some epic matchups as Premier League powerhouses Arsenal and Liverpool face off. Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur will take on Burnley, and Manchester United will tackle Wigan Athletic.

AFC Asian Cup

Every match of the AFC Asian Cup will be available exclusively on Paramount+. he Subway Socceroos commence their AFC Asian Cup campaign on Saturday 13 January live from 10.00pm AEDT as they take on India in their opening group match. Before then, the Socceroos will have a final hit out against Bahrain on Sunday, 7 January live from 12.30am AEDT.

Local matches

The Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women wil be playing all summer with all matches available to watch on Paramount+. One of the highlights will undoubtedly be the Unite Round on Friday, 12 January – Sunday, 14 January as all teams play in Sydney.

Key A-Leagues fixtures will also be available on 10 Bold and 10 Play, including in the Isuzu UTE A-League with the ‘Original Rivalry” as Melbourne Victory host Adelaide United on Saturday, 30 December live from 7.00pm AEDT, an Australia Cup final rematch between Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC on Saturday, 6 January live from 7.00pm AEDT, and all Liberty A-League matches available live and free on 10 Play.

Unite Round weekend sees a double header of Isuzu UTE A-League matches on Saturday, 13 January on 10 Bold and 10 Play, with Central Coast Mariners taking on Melbourne Victory live from 4.30pm AEDT before Adelaide United play Sydney FC live from 7.30pm. On the Sunday, the Liberty A-League grand final rematch between Western United and Sydney FC live from 4.30pm AEDT on 10 Bold and 10 Play.
