• Moon Knight and Our Flag Means Death drop a few places

Stranger Things has topped the Australian digital original and overall TV show charts ahead of the season four release on May 27. The science-fiction drama series placed 26.31 points above the market average before the worldwide release on Netflix.

The fourth season of Stranger Things is set to be released in two volumes, with episodes one to eight released first, followed by the final two episodes on July 1. The final episode is tipped to run for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

In New Zealand, Moon Knight on Disney + remained first on the digital charts with 20.61 points above average. Better Call Saul claimed the top spot with 22.19 points on the overall TV show charts. The crime drama series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould is a spin-off, prequel, and a sequel to Gilligan’s previous series, Breaking Bad.

Our Flag Means Death, the series with a loyal fanbase pushing for a second season through campaigns such as a message in a bottle and a charity fundraiser, has come in 32.3 points in Australia and 20.01 points in New Zealand.

Sneaking its way up the charts in Paramount Plus original Star Trek: Strange New Worlds with 21.52 points n Australia and 17.07 points in New Zealand. Three episodes of the series have been released so far, but it’s already different to previous series such Star Trek: Discovery or Star Trek: Picard, which take place in distant futures. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds takes place less than ten years before Captain Kirk takes over the Enterprise, making it a new experience for fans.
