• The Book of Boba Fett tops charts for sixth week in a row

Disney Plus original series, The Book of Boba Fett, continues to top all four TV Demand charts despite airing the finale in early February.

The series came in 26 points above market average in Australia and 21.1 points in New Zealand, a fall of 11.82 and 4.18 points from last week.

For another week, The Mandalorian has placed second with 23.7 points above average in Australia, a rise of one point from the week before.

Paramount Plus original,1883, has climbed the TV Demand charts, coming in third in Australia’s top digital originals with 17.7 points above market average, as the season one finale premiered on February 27.

Written by Taylor Sheridan, the show is the prequel to Paramount Plus’ popular show, Yellowstone, and has also become the most-watched title in the streaming platform’s young history.

The story follows the Dutton family as they flee poverty in Texas and embark on a journey through the Great Plains to seek a better future in Montana. 1883 has been renewed for season two, along with a series titled 1932, which is known as the next chapter of the Yellowstone origin story.

In the top 10 overall shows in both Australia and New Zealand, Attack on Titan has placed third with 20.8 points and 17.8 points respectively.

HBO Max’s original series, Peacemaker, remains third in New Zealand with 14.4 points above average and fourth in Australia with 17.6 points.

South Park has come in at fifth with 20.7 points in Australia’s overall TV shows and second in New Zealand with 18.9 points.

The award-winning animated series returned for a 25th season on February 25, and viewers can look forward to six brand new episodes, streaming weekly on Fridays on Paramount Plus.

Chris McCarthy, President and CEO of ViacomCBS Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studio, said, “for the past 25 years, multiple generations of fans have grown up enchanted by the outlandishly funny and subversive world that Matt and Trey have created with South Park.

“As part of our expansive new deal, we are thrilled to continue our partnership with them for many more seasons of South Park on Comedy Central and many more made-for-streaming South Park exclusive events on Paramount+.”

Other notable entrances include Netflix’s Stranger Things coming in fourth and fifth in digital original series, The Walking Dead coming fourth in Australia’s overall shows, and Last Week Tonight With John Oliver coming fourth in New Zealand.
