• The second season of Ted Lasso also continues to climb the charts this week

This week has seen Marvel’s show Loki on Disney+ stay strong atop both Australian charts. In New Zealand however, things look a bit different.

Topping the Overall New Zealand chart is My Hero Academia. The series focuses on the schoolboy, Izuku Midoriya, who dreams of becoming a hero when he meets one of the world’s greatest heroes, All Might. All Might reveals his Quirk – something Izuku Midoriya lacks – and passes it down to Izuku to succeed him.

Topping the Digital Originals chart is Stranger Things, boosted by the show’s producer promising that a fourth season is coming “quite soon”.

The second season of Ted Lasso continues to climb the charts this week, coming in second on three of the four charts – both Australian charts and the New Zealand Digital Original chart.

In the show, American Ted Lasso is a coach of college-level American soccer team. He finds himself recruited to coach an English Premier League team, AFC Richmond, despite having absolutely no experience in that level of the game.

Ted Lasso came in at 22.97 points above market average in Australia, and 13.09 in New Zealand.

The Mandalorian hasn’t strayed far from the top of the charts since the second season of the show wound up in December last year. Last week it received a bit of a boost after headlines were made about the third season – and that boost has continued into this week.. Giancarlo Esposito, who played Moff Gideon, gave some updates. Specifically, he revealed that Pedro Pascal, who plays the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin, will return despite currently being away to shoot HBO’s The Last Of Us.

We can expect to know the exact date season three will drop by September this year.

This week The Mandalorian came in at 19.96 points above market average in Australia, and 10.71 in New Zealand.
