• This week Loki has topped three of the four charts

In its fourth week of release, Marvel’s Loki on Disney+ continues to perform well. The show weaves its way in and out of timelines, as the mysterious TVA works to keep variants under control and “prune” any branches from the Sacred Timeline.

This week the show has topped three of the four charts – both Australian charts and the digital original chart for New Zealand.

In Australia, Loki has come in at 26.64 points above market average, and 18.44 points above market average in New Zealand.

Topping the remaining chart, the Overall New Zealand chart, was long time favourite Rick and Morty. Season five of the sci-fi cartoon has dropped, and episode two of the new season – Mortiplicity – is a riff on the 1996 sci-fi/comedy, Multiplicity. The episode has been called some of the show’s best work ever.

A mysterious force shows up and murders both Rick and the rest of the family, which thankfully turns out to be a decoy. The murder of the decoy family alerts the real Rick that something is out to get him, only for the process to repeat itself over and over.

This week Rick and Morty averaged 26.51 points above market average in Australia and 21.51 points in New Zealand.

The fourth series of The Handmaid’s Tale on SBS has dropped a bit this week, with the series based on the dystopian novel of the same name performing better across the digital original charts this week.

This week in Australia it is 17.57 points above average, and 11.53 points above average in New Zealand.

This season has found June Osborne finally free, however her freedom isn’t where the story ends. The fact that she has managed to escape comes with the chance to get justice for everyone victimised by Gilead.

At the top of her list of people to make pay for her suffering is Commander Fred Waterford and his wife Serena Joy.
