Switzer Media & Publishing launches Hodinkee ANZ

There will be four print editions annually.

Switzer Media & Publishing has launched Hodinkee Australia & New Zealand under an exclusive licensing agreement.

Hodinkee, founded in 2008, has become the largest global watch community, reaching a combined audience of more than 100 million.

The partnership introduces the brand’s first dedicated, locally operated edition in the Southern Hemisphere.

“From the beginning, Hodinkee has been built as a global platform, shaped by a deeply engaged international community,” said Hodinkee founder and president Ben Clymer.

“What excited us about this partnership with Switzer Media is the opportunity to service our long-standing audience in Australia and New Zealand in a more meaningful way, through a dedicated local team that understands the culture, collectors and stories unique to the region.”

Switzer Media & Publishing CEO Alex Switzer described the launch as a “transformative moment” for the local watch community.

“Hodinkee has fundamentally changed how people discover, learn about, and engage with fine watchmaking,” he said.

“We’re thrilled to bring their exceptional editorial voice and trusted platform to collectors and enthusiasts in our region.”

Hondikee ANZ will be powered by a local editorial team producing content specifically for the Australian and New Zealand market, including four print issues annually.

There will also be events and community experiences, such as exclusive collector gatherings, intimate dinners, panel discussions and brand partnership activations, as well as opportunities for luxury watch brands seeking to connect with high-net-worth collectors in ANZ.
