Stan Sport combines football’s biggest trophy chase under one roof

Alternative headline for people who call football ‘soccer’: Stan Sport combines soccer’s biggest trophy chases under one roof.

Stan Sport has launched Weight of the Crown, a new campaign celebrating the final stretch of the 2025/26 football season.

The campaign marks the countdown to the conclusion of seven elite competitions, with seven trophies up for grabs and the action live and exclusive on Stan Sport.

Developed by Stan’s in-house creative team, Weight of the Crown centres on the pressure of expectation and the pursuit of football greatness as the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Emirates FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, Women’s Super League and the newly signed Women’s FA Cup reach their final stages.

Football names front the campaign

The campaign features Premier League names including three-time FA Cup winner Theo Walcott, Australian football great Harry Kewell and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Stan Sport Experts Mark Bosnich and Craig Foster also appear in the campaign.

Weight of the Crown will roll out nationally across television, out-of-home, radio, print, digital and social.

Michelle Chandran on the final stretch

Michelle Chandran, Marketing Director at Stan, said the campaign arrives at a major moment for football fans.

“We’ve brought in legends of the game to help us celebrate an unprecedented finish to the season, with seven major titles up for grabs under one roof for the very first time.

“We know how passionate Australian football fans are, and they deserve to see every moment of this journey, ” Chandran said.

“From a thrilling Premier League title race and the crowning of Europe’s best, to the WSL where all eyes are on Mary Fowler to see if she can lead Man City to glory, the intensity is at an all-time high, ” he added.

A month of football pressure

The campaign lands as the Premier League title race continues to tighten.

According to Stan Sport, Manchester City played out a chaotic draw against Everton, stalling the momentum gained from its recent win over Arsenal.

While City still holds a crucial game in hand, Arsenal’s safety net has been restored ahead of what is set to be a pivotal final three matches of the season.

The Weight of the Crown campaign will run as Stan Sport heads into a month featuring the decisive UEFA Champions League Semi-Final second legs, the upcoming FA Cup semi-finals, and the Women’s Super League run home.
