Melbourne integrated creative and marketing agency Scooter has launched Scooter Retail, a new dedicated retail design and production division.
The new arm joins Scooter Marketing and Scooter Creative, completing the agency’s full-service offer across brand, marketing and retail.
Scooter Retail will deliver end-to-end retail design and production solutions across seasonal and permanent point-of-sale, helping brands show up at the moment of purchase.
The launch sits under Scooter’s unified positioning: “Shaping Brands People Want to Shop.”
A new retail arm
Scooter said the launch marks a significant step in its ambition to offer clients an integrated partner across brand, marketing and retail.
The division will bring specialist retail design and production capability into the agency, supported by new senior hires across retail, creative production, loyalty and brand engagement.
Anna Hodgson, CEO of Scooter, said retail is where brand thinking is tested most directly.
“Retail is the ultimate test of a brand. It’s where strategy becomes shelf space, and creative becomes conversion. Scooter Retail gives our clients the specialist expertise to win at every touchpoint, from a flagship installation to a seasonal display, all connected to the brand thinking that drives the rest of their business.”
Daniel Brodecky to lead Scooter Retail
Daniel Brodecky has been appointed Retail Director to lead Scooter Retail.
Brodecky brings more than 25 years of experience across retail design, industrial design and international business.
He founded Popcorn Displays in 2007, growing the business from an Australian operation into an international manufacturer and supplier of retail products. The business worked with brands including Beiersdorf, Acer, Kmart, Swisse Vitamins and Penrite Oil.
Most recently, Brodecky was Managing Director of TAG Retail, where he led shopper strategy and retail design across the Australian market.
He has worked across the UK, Germany, the USA and China, bringing global experience to the local retail landscape.
Brodecky said joining Scooter gives retail work a broader strategic and creative base.
“Retail is where brands are truly won or lost. I’ve spent my career helping brands show up powerfully at the point of purchase, and joining Scooter means I can do that within a group that brings the full picture: brand strategy, creative, and now retail. It’s an incredibly exciting proposition for clients.”
Senior hires across the agency
Scooter has also announced several senior appointments across the wider agency.
Fay Hong joins as Marketing Manager, bringing a background in retail marketing and loyalty. She spent nine years at MECCA Brands working on Beauty Loop, developing experience in customer connection and loyalty.
