Goldfield & Banks appoints SBCo for PR push in 10th anniversary year

Sally Burleigh’s SBCo lands Prestige Brands Australia brief spanning Goldfield & Banks and two new luxury market entries.

Sydney-based luxury communications agency SBCo has been appointed to lead public relations for Goldfield & Banks Australia, with the brief extending to cover the Australian market entry of two additional luxury houses – Marc-Antoine Barrois and Swiss Perfection – through to the end of 2026.

The mandate, awarded by Prestige Brands Australia – the local distribution partner for the three brands – covers media relations, strategic partnerships, industry profiling, and brand storytelling.

Appointment marks milestone year

Prestige Brands Australia General Manager Jacqui Vargha said the appointment aligns with the company’s long-term ambitions for the portfolio in Australia.

“Goldfield & Banks is an exceptional luxury fragrance house with significant opportunity for continued growth and awareness in Australia.

“Our partnership with SBCo reflects our commitment to delivering thoughtful, strategic communications that elevate the brand while strengthening its position within the luxury beauty sector,” said Vargha.

SBCo is led by Sally Burleigh, who brings more than two decades of experience across luxury, beauty, fashion, travel, and lifestyle sectors. Burleigh has previously represented premium Australian brands and founder voices across consumer, business, and trade media.

Broader remit includes new market launches

Beyond the Goldfield & Banks brief, Prestige Brands Australia will work with SBCo to launch ultra-luxury fragrance house Marc-Antoine Barrois and Swiss skincare house Swiss Perfection in Australia in the coming months.

Business & Marketing Director Jessica Charlesworth said Australia represents a strong opportunity for the portfolio.

“We have exciting plans for an array of luxury brands in our portfolio, and Goldfield & Banks Australia is one of our brands, which is experiencing exceptional growth, resonating with local tastemakers and niche fragrance enthusiasts,” said Charlesworth.

She added: “We believe Australia presents an outstanding opportunity for luxury fragrance and beauty, and partnering with SBCo, we will deliver a highly targeted communications strategy to support the market entry for these outstanding brands within the Australian luxury market. Sally’s expertise and understanding of premium brand positioning make her an ideal partner as we continue to grow our portfolio.”

Burleigh said she was looking forward to working across the portfolio.

“Prestige Brands Australia has curated an exceptional portfolio of globally respected luxury brands, each with a distinctive story and strong point of difference. I look forward to working alongside the brand founders, international executives and passionate Prestige Brands team to further build awareness and increase engagement for these remarkable houses in Australia,” said Burleigh.
