Ryvalmedia appoints Kenny Stewart as national managing director

Stewart will be tasked with driving growth, alignment and new business across Australia operations

Ryvalmedia has appointed Kenny Stewart as national managing director, tasking the senior executive with driving alignment, growth and new business across its Australian operations.

Stewart joins the digital-first media agency in May 2026 and will report directly to RyanCap CEO Simon Ryan, working across offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The appointment comes as Ryvalmedia continues its expansion strategy, having grown steadily since launching in 2020.

Stewart’s remit will focus on strengthening collaboration across the business, aligning teams nationally, and identifying new commercial opportunities as the agency looks to scale further.

Ryan said the hire reflects ongoing investment in leadership capability.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to collectively invite Kenny into the business. Kenny and I have known each other for over 10 years, and it’s been a pleasure to know him and collectively learn from each other.

“Ryvalmedia’s leadership is very much looking forward to working with Kenny, as I am again. I’m pleased to continue adding talent to our business.”

Focus on collaboration and commercial growth

Stewart brings senior holdco experience and will work closely with existing leadership teams to unify strategy across the agency’s footprint.

His appointment is positioned as a step towards deeper integration across Ryvalmedia’s operations and accelerating new business momentum.

Stewart said: “I’m really looking forward to working with some familiar faces, and I’m excited to be bringing my skillset and experience to Ryvalmedia, and to operating in the dynamic and vibrant indie sector.”

Ryvalmedia forms part of the RyanCap group, which continues to invest in its portfolio of marketing, data and technology businesses as it expands its presence in the Australian market.
