Prophet strengthens sales team with two key hires

Clasio’s and Roubos’ appointments are effective immediately.

Australia’s most advanced intelligence platform, Prophet, is continuing its rapid growth trajectory with two senior additions to its sales team.

Carl Clasio, former Atomic 212 programmatic and trading expert, joins as the new onboarding manager, while Leo Roubos steps into the Sales Enablement and Business Development Lead role.

Clasio reports to Chief Operating Officer, Hamish Mogan, while Roubos will work closely with recently appointed Vice President of Sales and Partnerships, James Sawyer.

Clasio to lead onboarding and support customer success

Speaking on the new appointments, Prophet Chief Operating Officer, Hamish Mogan, said:

“We are thrilled to welcome Carl to Prophet. He will play a vital role in helping customers understand the Prophet model, make sense of their insights, and feel confident from day one. Having someone with Carl’s expertise guiding that early journey is a big win for our team and for the marketers we support.

“Prophet is growing quickly, and the demand for clarity in marketing has never been higher. Carl is an important part of building the high-quality team that will support our customers as we scale. We’re excited to continue growing with talent of his calibre.”

Clasio is a highly experienced onboarding manager with deep expertise across media mix modelling, econometrics, programmatic advertising and omnichannel digital media activation.

He joined Prophet after six years at Atomic 212 as Programmatic and Trading Manager, and previously held marketing roles in the Philippines at Amobee and Ambient Digital Group.

On the new role, Clasio said: “Coming from an agency background, Prophet provides the opportunity for me to use my expertise in omni-channel activations, as well as translating useful data to actionable insights.

“Prophet is an integral tool for marketers to finally answer the whys and hows of strategic planning. For me, that’s a huge marketing pain point, so I’m happy to be part of a team that will better guide clients to answers.”

Roubos joins to lead revenue operations and growth

Roubos, who joins Sawyer in the Sydney office, will spearhead revenue operations, growth and sales for the business, reporting to Chief Growth Officer, Paul Veltman.

He brings significant experience across AI start-ups and global tech brands, including Booking.com and Deliveroo. He joins from Fluency, where he was part of the founding team and served as Head of Growth.

Roubos said: “Plenty of start-ups lead with hype and figure out substance later. Prophet has done the opposite, putting mathematics at the centre of its focus and taking the time needed to build something genuinely innovative. Now that the hype is deservedly following, it couldn’t be a more exciting time to join the business.”

Prophet Chief Growth Officer, Paul Veltman, added: “Leo brings that perfect mix of SaaS pedigree, start-up pace and a genuine problem-solver mindset to Prophet. He has a real can-do attitude and is already deep in building out our internal growth stack and RevOps engine. Culturally, he is exactly the kind of person who lifts the team. Having him based in Sydney, alongside James Sawyer, strengthens our footprint as we push into the next phase of growth.”

Prophet continues momentum with AI expansion and new hires

The appointments follow a period of rapid acceleration for the Melbourne-based decision intelligence company.

Prophet recently launched Prophet AI, its new AI platform that builds digital clones of organisations to simulate business scenarios, an industry-first tool that will soon be available exclusively to customers.

To support growth, the company has added Sawyer as its first Sydney-based foundational hire, appointed Bec Geyer as Head of Talent and People, and expanded its advisory board with Google Cloud’s Phil Davis and Columbia University’s Professor Andrew Gelman.

Prophet was named the number one 2025 AFR BOSS Most Innovative Company in the Media and Marketing category and has added more than 30 enterprise customers since launching.

Clasio’s and Roubos’ appointments are effective immediately.
