Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top, despite a 0.9 point decrease from 2022. 

For another survey, Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to top the Perth breakfast slot with an 18.6% share, decreasing 2.2 points from the end of 2022. Nova’s national drive program of Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel came in at first with a 16.8% share, decreasing 1.6 points from the last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39 and 40-54 demos. The station dropped 10.3 points in the 10-17 demographic, but rose 9.4 points in 18-24.

In the last survey of 2022, ARN’s 96FM sat at third, slowly inching its way up the ratings throughout 2022. The first 2023 survey sees the station rise to second with an 11.1% share.

The station has enjoyed the biggest gain in the 55-64 demo, rising 3.4 points for 23.5%.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, increased by 1.1 points for a share of 10.9%. The national drive show of Will and Woody increased 4.2 points in Perth for a 14.3% share.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 has maintained its 11.2% share, despite slipping one spot to third.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has increased 0.3 points for a 10.4% share, placing third in the breakfast slot this survey.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little fell 3.4 points for a share of 10.5%, making it third in the drive slot. The station’s top demographic was 10-17, with 16%, but grew in the 55-64 demo by 3.4 points.

92.9 Triple M 6.7% (6.9%)

Despite 92.9 Triple M falling 0.2 points, for a 6.7% share, it has been pushed up the ranks to start the year. 

The station experienced a 4.8 increase in the 18-24 demo to take a 9.5% share, making it the second most popular station in the age group.

The breakfast team of Xav & Michelle have enjoyed a rise of 0.5 points in the breakfast slot, bringing in a share of 6.9%.

 In November last year, Katie Lamb joined Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host The Rush Hour with Embers and Katie. The drive show slot fell 1.5 points for a 5.9% share.

Nine’s Perth Radio station fell 2 points from the end of 2022 for a 6.5% share.

6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl fell 1 point for a 9.7% share.

The station increased 4.6 points in the 18-24 demo for a 6.1% share, but fell in the 65+ by 4.9 points.

6iX 4.0% (5.7%)

6iX has fallen 1.7 points from the end of 2022. 

The station’s breakfast slot with Rob and Nat, dropped by 1.6 points for a 2.7% share.  

The station did best in the 55-64 demo with a 7.4% share, despite falling 6.4 points.
