oOh!media has announced the appointment of Chris Eyres to lead sales in Western Australia.

Eyres has worked across major media companies for more than 25 years and joins from SBS, where for the past six years as WA sales manager.

In the role, Eyres has managed commercial relationships across TV, digital and radio. He also spent more than two years at Bauer Media in the state and also held various senior sales leadership roles at the Nine Network in Perth for more than 15 years. 

During his extensive sales career, Eyres has been recognised with a number of industry awards and is also currently a director of the UnLtd board in Western Australia.

At oOh! Eyres will be responsible for driving advertisers and agencies to leverage the outdoor media company’s out-of-home network in the state and across its national portfolio of 37,000 digital and classic signs.

“He’s worked at leading national media brands for close to 30 years, has a track record of success in delivering the right solutions for brands at scale and driving return on their marketing spend. We are delighted he’s leading oOh!’s growing sales operation in the state.”
 
Eyres added: “oOh! has built a strong presence across WA over recent years and as the business moves to a digital first future, I look forward to bringing my media experience and market understanding to oOh!, working alongside the team here, to continue its growth.”

Eyres replaces Mark Treasure who after 13 years of working with oOh! is returning to his media representation business, Media Tonic.

Eyres appointment comes after oOh!media launched its inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), signifying a commitment to strengthen awareness of and relationships with First Nations people and drive meaningful reconciliation action across the business.
