Binge has delivered one of the year’s most anticipated TV moments, with Friends: The Reunion going to air express from the U.S. at 5.02pm AEST Thursday night. The episode which sees the six actors as well as some of the cast and crew is now available to stream. The team at Binge invited Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa team around to recreate the iconic Friends intro song on the famous orange couch. Things didn’t quite go to plan for one person though, with the resident prankster, Fitzy, going ahead with some other plans he had made.

What Wippa didn’t know was that Fitzy removed one of the legs and made Wippa unsuspectingly jump on the couch for the shoot, breaking it. Never fear though, no couches (or Wippas) were harmed in the making of this video.

Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) have only been reunited like this once before since the series ended, back in 2004. In the reunion, the stars return to the iconic comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank for a real-life unscripted celebration of the show.

The one-off special also features appearances from some of the world’s biggest names including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.

Binge executive director Alison Hurbert-Burns said: “Friends doesn’t need an introduction – it’s simply iconic. The show that delivered us Rachel, Joey, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Ross remains as popular today as it was when it aired.

“With fans holding out hope for a reunion for years, Binge is delighted to bring Friends: The Reunion to Australians and have it join all 10 seasons of Friends already available to stream on Binge.”
