Ipsos iris data shows News Corp Australia led the News category in 2025, driven by audience and video growth.

News Corp Australia has claimed the top spot in the Ipsos iris News category for 12 consecutive months across 2025, based on the December 2025 rankings released on Friday.

What did News Corp Australia “win” in 2025?

In Ipsos iris’ News category for 2025, News Corp Australia ranked as the leading publisher on audience and engagement measures.

• Monthly average audience: 14.53 million
• Browser page views: 546 million
• Engaged reach: 37 average browser page views per person per month (up 5.4 per cent)
• Average time spent: 45 minutes per person per month
• Video views: 64 million per month on average (up 68.6 per cent on 2024)

Across all of its sites in 2025, News Corp Australia said an average 18 million people visited each month, up 3.8 per cent year-on-year. It also reported an “engaged reach” of 145 average browser page views per person per month.

Video growth in focus

The publisher also pointed to video as a growth driver in 2025. It reported more than 83 million video views per month on average, up 78 per cent on the prior year, alongside 49 per cent year-on-year audience growth.

December 2025 highlights

The company also outlined several brand-level results for December 2025.

• Taste.com.au topped the Lifestyle category at brand level, with an audience of 5.19 million and 106 million browser page views.
News.com.au reported an audience of 12.31 million and 344 million browser page views, with 68 million video views.
Tubi recorded audience growth of 120 per cent year-on-year, and 20 per cent month-on-month. The 14–24 audience grew 41 per cent on the month.
