• Daily Mail Australia (DMA) has advised that Peter Holder will be departing as managing director, the commercial and management role he has held since February 2015.

Daily Mail Australia is one of the biggest news publishers in Australia, commanding the fourth biggest audience of any commercial news publisher.

• Sparro has announced the appointment of Angus Waters to lead its growing partnerships & affiliate team.

Waters joins the independent digital marketing agency bringing six years of experience working across publisher relationship management at Commission Factory.

Most recently, his position saw him leading a team of publisher relationship developers while working directly with affiliate partners.

• 9 News Melbourne has welcomed Chester Ngan as their new chief of staff. He previously worked for 10 News First Melbourne. 

April Shepherd has started at Infrastructure as a senior editor. 

• The Queensland University of Technology has welcomed former journalist Debra Bela as corporate communications team leader.

• LiSTNR has welcomed Claudianna Blanco as a senior investigative journalist / producer 

• News Corp Australia announced the appointment of sales leader Natalie Grabbe to the role of head of agency, VIC.

In a new role for the business, Grabbe will be responsible for driving revenue growth and partnerships with consortium media agencies in Victoria.

The Works, part of Capgemini, has welcomed six new members to the team.

Chris Dengate has started at Schwartz Media as a senior producer for 7am 

• Orygen has welcomed Matt Cram who is starting a new role as senior manager, communications and media. 

• Azerion has announced the appointment of Caitlin Huskins as the new commercial director for the JAPAC region.

With more than 13 years of experience in the digital advertising industry, Huskins has held several senior leadership roles across the agency landscape.

• Vistar Media has announced a string of new hires across its Australia and Singapore offices to support its plans in the APAC region.

Millie Campbell joins Sabio as account director. Nathan Torpey has been appointed as senior engagement and communications consultant at Sabio.

Jenny Noyes has moved on from The Sydney Morning Herald after eight years and is now senior media advisor to the office of New South Wales deputy premier, Pure Car. 

• Scope3 has appointed Joanna Georges to the newly created position of Head of ANZ as Scope3 ramps up its activity in Australia and New Zealand.

The public benefit company launched in Australia in October 2022 with a mission to decarbonise the media and advertising industry and has seen significant demand for its digital supply chain emissions data from brands and their agency partners seeking more sustainable digital advertising solutions.

• Polkadot Communications has announced new clients joining its client portfolio.

Sony Music has sought the independent communications agency’s team to promote two multi-sensory experiences of light, colour and sound that will be showcased as part of the 2023 VIVID Sydney Festival for the first time ever – Lightscape and Dark Spectrum.
