Kojo appoints Andrew Fotheringham as head of clients & marketing services

National creative studio, Kojo has announced the appointment of Andrew Fotheringham to the newly created role of head of clients and marketing services, based out of the company’s Adelaide studio.

Andrew was most recently the general manager – marketing and communications of Events South Australia, a division of the South Australian Tourism Commission, and was responsible for the promotion of South Australia’s premier major events including Tour Down Under and Tasting Australia. Prior to that, he held several senior client management roles with agencies CumminsHybrid, KWP! and Showpony. 

The new role within Kojo Creative has national responsibility and is charged with its client growth strategy including the expansion of the marketing services area. Fotheringham joins the Kojo Creative management team led by the recently promoted, head of Kojo Creative, Jess Hill.

On his appointment, Andrew said “with many years of marketing experience gained on both agency and client side, I’m excited to be entrusted with expanding Kojo’s unique and compelling service offering to further benefit our current clients as well as attract new clients”.

The appointment further bolsters the Kojo Creative team which also recently announced the additions of Bim Ricketson as group creative director and Emma Gill as creative director.

On his appointment, Ricketson said “with 20 years working on campaign and immersive experiences, opening ceremonies for major sporting events and with a family background in the film and the arts, I’m excited by Kojo’s storytelling-first approach, the breadth of capability and what Kojo offers clients and audiences”.

Ricketson and Gill join the Sydney office as the agency continues to expand and will work closely with Jess Hill and head of Kojo Sport, Chantella Perera in Melbourne.
