JOLT promotes Tim Debenham to National Sales Director

Tim Debenham

The Victorian sales director steps up to lead national revenue strategy across JOLT’s growing Australian commercial operation.

JOLT has elevated Victorian Sales Director Tim Debenham to the newly created role of national sales director, effective immediately, as the digital out-of-home and electric vehicle charging network expands its commercial operations across Australia.

Debenham will oversee JOLT’s national revenue strategy and the development of the sales team while continuing to lead the Victorian team. He reports to JOLT Australia Country Manager Stuart Moffat, who was himself appointed to a newly created role earlier this year.

Building on a Victorian foundation

Debenham joined JOLT in 2022 from News Corp, where he held senior media sales roles. In his four years leading the Victorian operation, he developed JOLT’s data and measurement capabilities and built its client portfolio, with particular strength in automotive and energy – the latter now one of JOLT’s highest-growth advertiser verticals.

Moffat said the Victorian team’s performance made the case for Debenham’s promotion. “What he’s built in Victoria speaks for itself – its sales team is now one of the strongest in the business, and it’s a direct reflection of how Tim leads; it’s exactly why we’ve created this role for him,” Moffat said.

“He has a track record for being meticulous and dedicated to his partnerships – he’s been known to work with clients for the better part of a year to get a campaign exactly right.”

National ambitions

Debenham said the promotion represented a natural next step. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help shape JOLT’s national sales capability. JOLT is at an exciting point in its growth, and being asked to step into this role means a lot,” he said.

“For me, the next chapter is about working with our sales teams across the country, helping them grow, and continuing to show advertisers what a genuinely innovative, purpose-built media network can do for them.”

The appointment comes as JOLT consolidates its position following its acquisition of the Volta Media Network in the US in January 2026, which the company says makes it the world’s largest combined EV charging and digital out-of-home network. JOLT operates across five markets: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
