It’s Friday nabs Zeekr Australia’s creative account

Independent creative agency It’s Friday has been appointed as the creative agency of record for Zeekr Australia, following a competitive pitch.

The appointment comes as Zeekr accelerates its presence in the Australian market and positions itself as a “genuine disruptor” in the premium electric vehicle category.

Zeekr—global luxury EV brand—has been building local momentum through its flagship Zeekr 7X, which has secured several industry accolades.

The model has been named 2026 Drive Car of the Year for Best Medium SUV Under $60,000, CarsGuide’s Best Medium SUV Under $60k, and received a Gold Award for Best-Value Luxury EV at the 2026 Money Magazine Best of the Best Awards.

Settle No More

As part of the appointment, It’s Friday has developed a new brand platform for Zeekr Australia, “Settle No More.”

The platform is designed to capture the brand’s ambition to challenge convention and redefine expectations in the category.

It will underpin Zeekr Australia’s brand, product and retail communications across integrated campaigns, content, experience, activation and digital activity.

Tony Zhou, CMO at Zeekr Australia, said the brand was seeking a partner to help establish a distinctive position in the local market.

“It’s Friday demonstrated a clear strategic vision and creative ambition that aligns with where we want to take the brand in Australia.”

Challenger energy

For It’s Friday, the win reflects its focus on building modern challenger brands across culture, creativity and commerce.

Pete Bosilkovski, CEO of It’s Friday, said Zeekr is bringing a different energy to the premium EV space.

“Zeekr is a genuine disruptor in the premium EV space – a challenger brand with the ambition and intent to rewrite the rules. It doesn’t play by traditional automotive conventions, and that’s exactly the point.

“It’s a brand built for Australians who expect more. More technology, more performance, more design, more luxury without compromise. ‘Settle No More’ isn’t just a line, it’s a mindset. And it’s one we’re excited to bring to life.”

The agency will be responsible for brand strategy, creative development and integrated campaign execution across the Australian market.

The appointment is effective immediately, with work already underway on an upcoming campaign.
