ARN’s iHeartRadio Australia has announced the launch of its curated and personalised playlists via their free app.

The playlist feature organises music by mood, activity, decade, and genre, making it simple to find or create the ideal soundtrack for any moment.

The new playlist feature is also a companion to listening to live radio. Listeners can add songs playing live to their own personal playlists while streaming a radio show on the ARN’s iHeart app.

The feature also launches with playlists handpicked by your iHeartRadio Australia personalities such as Kyle & Jackie O, Christian O’Connell and Amanda Keller, podcasts presenters including Life Uncut’s Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne and The Imperfects, and music from Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Post Malone.

The iHeart app uses data science to generate playlists based on what listeners enjoy most. AI-infused playlists include ‘Your Weekly Mixtape’, a playlist based on the music you love, ‘Your Weekly Chill’ and ‘Your Weekly Workout’.

It’s new iHeart playlists also has a special focus on supporting local artists, with several Australian only playlists, including ‘New Aus’, ‘New Country’, ‘First Nations’, ‘BBQ Bangers’, ‘Pub Rock’ and  ‘Pop’ and ‘Hip-Hop’.

The addition of the all-new playlist feature also provides a multitude of advertiser integration opportunities, including branded playlists amplified across ARN’s audiosphere.
