Gunther Consulting has expanded its agency offering, launching a suite of modular go-to-market services, a refreshed visual identity and a dedicated Personal Branding pathway for creative leaders.
The expanded offer follows 18 months of market signals from agencies and creative leaders. Founded in October 2024 by marketing strategist Kathleen Gunther, the fractional marketing consultancy has spent its first 18 months working closely with agencies on their own brand.
The new service suite includes The Agency Marketing Sprint, a half-day workshop with a 30-day go-to-market playbook.
It also includes 1:1 Marketing Strategy Calls, a productised Awards Strategy offer, a bespoke Dashboard & Reporting build, and access to the GC Network of vetted freelancers.
Gunther said the new offer was built around the reality that agencies often struggle to market themselves consistently.
“Time is the biggest barrier to agencies marketing themselves – ahead of budget,” Gunther said.
“Even when agencies sign on for ongoing services, they can go underground the moment a pitch lands.
“The relentless pitching cycle means agencies need to be new business ready, for themselves as much as their clients.
“We had to build products that meet them where they actually are.”
Built to be acted on
Gunther said the modular services address a structural challenge for agencies: strategy can sit untouched if there is not enough time or budget to execute it.
“The new services are designed to be acted on, not just admired.
“A 30-day playbook, a single strategy call, a focused awards push create momentum on their own terms, without an agency needing to commit to a full retainer upfront,” Gunther said.
Personal branding for creative leaders
Gunther Consulting has also launched Personal Branding for Creatives in response to a shift toward human-led content.
According to the consultancy, organic reach for LinkedIn company pages has dropped to around 1.6% of followers, while personal profiles dominate roughly 62% of the average feed.
“Leaders can’t hide behind their agency brand anymore; people buy people,” Gunther said.
“With the rise of AI threatening to make everything even more beige than it is, agency and creative leaders need to come out of the shadows.
“Personal brand isn’t a vanity project.
“In 2026, it’s a business reality, and my new offer is built on the methodology I’ve spent the last 18 months applying to my own brand.”
The village model
Gunther said the expanded offer was built with her network of freelance specialists, reflecting the model she now offers to clients.
“I couldn’t have built this alone, and neither should agency leaders.
“The village mentality is the future of agency marketing, pulling in the right specialists when you need them, not carrying everything yourself,” Gunther said.
