• This will be the second time that 10 runs the Women’s Weekly Easter special

On Saturday, March 27 at 6.30pm, Studio 10’s Sarah Harris and The Living Room’s Barry Du Bois present Easter With The Australian Women’s Weekly, a seasonal special that will showcase everything from Easter styling ideas, fashion, and treats.

There will be recipe ideas with Poh Ling Yeow, Sarah Tiong, and The Australian Women’s Weekly test kitchen team preparing party snacks that require minimal effort.

The special will also go behind-the-scenes of the Easter issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly with MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo, who will give his tips for a fun Easter and introduce the newest member of his family to the world. Also featured is I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’s Toni Pearen, as she swaps her jungle gear for some glossy glam.

This will be the second time that 10 runs the Women’s Weekly Easter special, with the first aired last year off the back of a successful 2019 Christmas Special.

Speaking about the first Easter special last year, Editor-in-chief Nicole Byers told Mediaweek: “When it comes to the lead up to holidays like Christmas and Easter, it’s a beautiful celebration of food and fashion. The reason our Christmas special was so successful was that we worked closely with 10. It was important to make the show reflect the quality and integrity of the Women’s Weekly brand and we really brought that to life.”

The 2020 Easter special included guests like celebrity chefs Miguel Mastre, MasterChef’s Hayden Quinn, and actor Samuel Johnson. It was largely shot in home settings to reflect what was happening with the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We’re trying to be quite broad, but a lot of it is shot within our home environment because we really wanted to bring to life that feeling of being home at the holidays,” said Byers.
