Nova has shot back up to #1 after losing the top spot in the final survey of 2021 after it lost 1.8 points. It has responded in this survey by gaining back 1.1 points as its (mostly) new-look breakfast team of Ash, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill have regained the #1 ranking for the daypart after remaining steady on 10.7%. This is the second survey after the departure of Kip Wightman from the lineup.

Nova continues to dominate the drive slot with the national team of KateTim and Joel after gaining 0.8 points to improve to a share of 13.3%
Nova has remained #1 in the 10-17 and  25-39 demographics and has regained the top spot for the 40-54 demo.

4KQ  has remained the #2 commercial station in the Brisbane radio ratings, despite losing 1.2 points to start the year. Breakfast with Laurel, Gary & Mark has dipped to 9.9% after losing 2.1 points, finishing as the equal #2 show in the daypart. The station remains #1 in the mornings and weekends and continues to rule the older demographics by remaining #1 in 55-64 and 65+ for commercial stations.

B105 has moved from #5 to #3 having bounced back with an increase of 0.7 points after posting its lowest share in over five years in the final survey of last year. The station’s breakfast show of Stav, Abby and Matt has moved up one spot to #6. Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little have moved up to #2 in their daypart after gaining 0.7 points. B105 remains #1 in 18-24.

KIIS 97.3FM is off to a rough start after its rebrand earlier this year, down 2.7 points and slipping from #1 to #4 in its first survey since the change. In breakfast, the new-look pairing of RobinTerry & Kip has slipped to the #4 commercial show in the rankings after losing 1.8 points. In drive, Will and Woody have lost 3.3 points which drops to the #4 commercial show in Brisbane.

After a strong finish to 2021, 4BC has picked up where it left off with the best survey one result for the station since 2009. Neil Breen‘s breakfast share of 9.9% is up 2 points year on year, while Ray Hadley finished #1 in the mornings with a share of 11.2%.

104.5 Triple M 8.1% (9.1%)

Triple M Brisbane has had its worse result in over five years with a market share of 8.1%. The Big Breakfast with Marto and Margaux has slipped down to #6 after losing 1.3 points. The new-look drive show, The Rush Hour with Liesel, Liam & Dobbo is down 1.3 points to 8.2%.

The all-music format has continued its slight slide, down 0.5 points.
