Jackass Forever

• This weekend the Australian box office made $8.68 million

This weekend the Australian box office made $8.68 million. This was up 6% on last week’s total of $8.18 million.

After seven weeks as king of the box office, Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally relinquished the crown. Taking the number one spot is Jackass Forever, with the gang returning once again to celebrate the art form of the perfect shot to the groin.

Also joining the top five this week is the science fiction disaster film Moonfall, and  Kenneth Branagh’s newest film Belfast.

Dropping out of the top five this week are Scream 5, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and House of Gucci.

#1, Jackass Forever, $2.48 million

If you thought that the Jackass crew were running out of creative ways to injure themselves and their friends, you’d be wrong. Topping the box office in its debut week, Jackass Forever averaged $7,489 across 331 screens.

#2, Spider-Man: No Way Home, $1.06 million

It may have been relegated to second place, but by no means did Spider-Man have a bad week. Pulling in upwards of a million in its eighth week of release, this week No Way Home averaged $2,611 over 404 screens. So far it has made a whopping total of $78.23 million.

#3, Moonfall, $744,833

With a USD $138–146 million production budget, Moonfall is one of the most expensive independently produced films of all time. On debut it averaged $2,271 over 328 screens.

#4, Belfast, $606,432

Averaging $5,721 over 106 screens, Belfast follows the life of a working-class Ulster Protestant family from the perspective of their 9-year-old son Buddy during The Troubles in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
