Avenue C snares Paula Lopes as digital director

Avenue C - Paula Lopes

Lopes will be responsible for spearheading the planning, buying, and reporting across all digital mediums

Avenue C has appointed Paula Lopes as digital director to bolster its digital solutions for clients such as Primo Foods, Harvest Snaps and GoDaddy.

Lopes joins the independent media agency from KINESSO, where she was chief operations manager, and brings with her over 17 years of experience in the media industry.

As digital director at Avenue C, she will be responsible for spearheading the planning, buying, and reporting across all digital mediums, leveraging her deep knowledge of the digital ecosystem.

Daniel Cutrone, managing partner at Avenue C, said Lopes appointment would strengthen the agency’s media experience, working across a number of categories and markets, as well as a deep expertise within the digital ecosystem.

“With Paula, our digital product is spearheaded by an extremely strong team, including Paula, who now joins our two other digital directors, Mark Zala and Chris Zoomerschoe,” Cutrone added.

Lopes’ appointment comes after the agency’s chief strategy office Melissa Mullins told Mediaweek earlier this year that Avenue C team is focused on continuing to offer the very best service to their clients and media partners.

“We know that in today’s economic climate, Marketers require safe and wise investments with their media budgets, so we are continuing to enhance our capabilities to ensure that they have the rationale and confidence in every dollar that we are spending on their behalf,” she said.

“What that looks like for us is increased Marketing training for our team, increased investment in data analytics and a relentless pursuit of business outcomes from our team,” she added.
