Andy Ford is leaving behind his 3-month-long associate vice president role at Analytic Partners to lead Canva as its new global head of marketing data.
Ford’s previous stint at Analytic Partners focused on strengthening client service and driving measurable outcomes for brands navigating an increasingly complex media environment.
“Well – it’s official. I’m taking on a new global role with Canva,” Ford confirmed via LinkedIn post.
A “once-in-a-career” move
Ford described the appointment as a major step in his career.
“This is a true once-in-a-career opportunity – bringing together everything I’ve worked on over the past 20+ years across marketing science, measurement, data and commercial strategy, at a truly global scale for one of the world’s leading tech businesses.”
Short stint, lasting impact
Reflecting on his short-lived time at Analytic Partners, Ford said the experience reinforced the importance of measurement in marketing effectiveness.
“I know my time at Analytic Partners has been short, but it’s also been incredibly valuable, and I’ve learned a huge amount. The role measurement will continue to play in driving better outcomes for marketing teams.”
Ford added that the AP (Analytic Partners) team is one of the smartest brains he has ever worked with.
“The human intelligence they bring to client challenges is what really sets them apart.”
Ford brings more than 20 years of experience across marketing science, data intelligence and commercial strategy.
He previously led the rollout of Meta’s marketing science unit across Australia and APAC, and served as head of data intelligence and measurement at Coles 360, where he helped advance analytics capabilities in the retail media space.
