Adelaide Radio Ratings 2023, Survey 1: Mix holds top spot, Fiveaa #1 breakfast, but Triple M closing in

Mix 102.3 has started the year as the #1 station in Adelaide, rising 0.5 points to take a 12.3% share. 

The Ali Clarke Breakfast Show decreased by 0.5 points for an 8.5% share. The station’s strongest time slot was the evening slot, hosted by Christain O’Connell, with a 14.3% share, up 3.2 points.

The station increased by 4.7 points in the 55-64 demo, inching closer to Cruise1323. Mix 102.3 won the 40-54 demo despite falling 1.9 points.

Nova finished 2022 in third spot, but has risen to second to start the year.

The network has enjoyed a lift across every dayparts, with the new breakfast team of Jodie & Hayesy rising 2.4 points for an 11.7% share.

Ricki Lee, Tim & Joel in Adelaide’s drive spot has risen 3.1 points to come out on top with a 14.6% share.

Nova still continues to dominate in the 18-24 demos, claiming a 24.8% share and has risen 8.3 points in 25-39 for a 21.6% share.

Adelaide’s Triple M station has moved up the ranks to start 2023, with a 0.1 point increase to start the year.

The breakfast team of Roo, Ditts, and Loz increased by 1.7 points, coming to a total of 12.9%, placing second among the commercial networks. 

Among the 18-24 demographic, 5MMM increased by 8.4 points for a 15.6% share.

SAFM has increased 1 point for a share of 10.1%, and has enjoyed an increase across every daypart.

In November, Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom made 107.1 SAFM Breakfast his new home alongside Rebecca ‘Bec’ Morse. This survey, the breakfast slot increased 1.9% for a 10.3% share.

Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little’s national drive show increased 0.9 points, coming second in the Adelaide market. 

SAFM has increased in the 18-24 demographic by 7.9 points for 16.9%.

FIVEaa has recorded a decrease of 1.9 points and a total share of 9.2%.

In the breakfast slot, David and Will have fallen 2.3 points for a total share of 14.2%. Despite the drop, the network is still the #1 commercial breakfast show in Adelaide. In drive, Rowey and Timmy G have fallen 2.8 points for a total share of 7.8%.

The station topped the 65+ demo in the Adelaide radio ratings with 20% despite a fall of 4.5 points.

An increase of 0.2 points for a share of 9.1% has seen Cruise 1323 maintain its sixth position for the first survey of the year.

Mark Elliston’s drive has fallen 0.1 points for a share of 7.0%. The station dominated in the 55-64 demographic with an 17.1% share, and fell 5.4 points in the 10-17 demo.
