Kate, Tim & Marty’s on-air game Quick Draw is now available to be played on listeners’ mobile phones or tablets via the Nova app.
The game replicates the stress-inducing and high intensity game that is played every Tuesday on Kate, Tim & Marty’s national drive show across the Nova Network.
To celebrate the launch of the mobile game Kate Ritchie went head-to-head in a round of Quick Draw against Nova CEO Cathy O’Connor (pictured).
Ritchie is known for her competitive nature. However it was O’Connor that came out on top!
In November 2014, Kate, Tim & Marty devised a game where Kate and Marty would compete against each other, with quiz master Tim asking a series of rapid fire questions such as “name an occupation starting with P”. Whoever could respond with the correct answer first would win a point with the best out of seven winning the game.
After witnessing the true competitive nature of Kate Ritchie, the team decided to evolve the game into a regular segment and invite a different celebrity guest to take on Kate in Quick Draw each week. Kate has justified her competitive title, winning 23 out of 35 rounds and beating the likes of George Calombaris, Kochie and even experienced television game show host, Grant Denyer.
It hasn’t been all smooth sailing with Joel Creasey, Peter Helliar and Matt Preston only a select few to beat Nova’s Quick Draw champ.
Quick Draw is available to download now via the current Nova app on iTunes or Google Play.
