Boxy’s Big Night in 2022 was in Surfers Paradise

On Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox, breakfast show Fifi, Fev & Nick have announced Boxy’s Bug Night will return this year and will take listeners to Las Vegas.

Last year, Fifi Box was challenged by her radio co-hosts Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody to an ‘all-nighter’ on the Gold Coast. Taking listeners along for the ride, Fifi successfully lasted the entire night dancing away for 12 hours in Surfers Paradise from 6 pm to 6 am the next morning.

This year, Fifi is determined to do it again but even bigger, longer and it’s going global. Boxy’s Big Night 2023 will be in Las Vegas for 24 hours with pool parties to wedding chapels and more.

Fifi Box said: “We thought, ‘Let’s do it again’, it’s been a year, I’m ready to go out again, I want a big night but, it’s got to be bigger. Las Vegas here we come!”

Listeners will have the chance to win their way on the trip by listening to Fifi, Fev & Nick weekdays from 6-9am on 101.9 The Fox or on LiSTNR.

Last month, the Fifi, Fev & Nick breakfast team were almost staring down another marathon brekky show as they committed to staying on-air until they found a winner of their favourite listener game, Alphabucks.

On Wednesday 14 June, the team played their Alphabucks game a total of 22 times in a row, remaining on air until 10 am – an hour past their typical knock-off time. The eventual lucky winner was mum Melinda from Lang Lang, who correctly answered the ten questions, starting with the letter ‘M,’ in 30 seconds and won $10,000.

With only seconds to spare winner Melinda, a childcare worker with Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Narre Warren North, was victorious and celebrated as her friend and workmate Jess cheered her on.

Melinda dropped into the studio to meet the team and accept her winner’s cheque. When asked what she would do with the money Melinda said: “Probably go on a holiday.”
