Yango has been appointed by Jameel Motors to lead media strategy, planning and buying for the Australian rollout of electric commercial vehicle brand Farizon.
Jameel Motors is the official Australian distributor for Farizon, Geely’s electric commercial vehicle brand. The appointment follows Yango and Jameel Motors’ recent work on the local launch of the Farizon VE7 electric commercial van.
The account will focus on connecting Farizon with Australian fleet operators and small business owners. Yango’s remit includes media activity designed to build brand awareness and drive measurable lead generation.
Jameel Motors is planning to expand Farizon’s local distribution and dealership network as it builds the brand in Australia.
Yango to support Farizon’s local growth
Amy Carr, General Manager of Growth at Yango, said the agency would apply its automotive experience to the account.

Yango is also working with independent brand and creative agency Traffic. The agencies will align media activity with creative work for the Farizon brand.
The appointment is effective immediately.
