Where to watch the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for free in Australia

Prime video will make that happen!

Prime Video will stream every match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 live, exclusive and free for fans in Australia.

The tournament will feature 33 matches, with Australian fans only needing a free Amazon account to watch. No payment is required.

It marks the second consecutive ICC women’s tournament made freely available to Australian fans via Prime Video, following the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

Australia targets seventh title

Twelve sides will compete in the 10th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which begins with the group stage on Saturday, June 13.

The tournament will be held in Wales and England, with the final to be played at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on Sunday, July 5.

Australia enters the tournament aiming to win back the trophy from the current champions, New Zealand, who won in 2024.

The Australian team will be led by all-rounder and new captain Sophie Molineux, who took over from Alyssa Healy in January. The tournament will be Molineux’s first international tournament as skipper.

Molineux said the squad was looking forward to the World Cup opportunity.

“There’s always huge excitement around an ICC T20 World Cup and our group is really looking forward to the opportunity ahead.” said Molineux.

“Having every match available free on Prime Video is massive for fans back home – hopefully, we can put on a show and make the country proud.”

Australia will open its campaign against South Africa on June 13.

The semi-finals will begin on July 2, before the final on July 5.

Prime Video on free access

Alexandra Gilbert, head of content at Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, said the decision follows the response to Prime Video’s free coverage of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

“Prime Video is proud to make the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 freely available to all Australians,” Gilbert said.

“We saw firsthand the passion for women’s cricket in Australia when we made the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 free for fans, and we’re committed to building on that momentum.

“From premium originals to live sport, we’re building Prime Video into a true entertainment destination—bringing a wide selection of premium programming together in one place—and making this tournament free ensures even more Australians can experience it.

“We wish the Australian women’s team all the best as they strive for their seventh ICC Women’s T20 World Cup title.”
