“The last few years have seen many people and many businesses completely rethink everything, and that’s what Collaborate is all about”

Social media platform, WeAre8 has announced the launch of Collaborate, an expanded client offering for brands looking to make an impact beyond just business results, with marketing solutions that aim to leave a positive impact on people and in support of the planet.

Operating under WeAre8’s B-Corp certification, Collaborate will provide marketers with a suite of services beyond the app’s opt-in advertising experience, and tap into like-minded providers to offer a single source of briefing and execution to deliver clients with deeper and more comprehensive solutions.

The alliance will bring together the expertise of WeAre8, alongside the services of sustainability focused creative company Rethink Everything led by Mike Spirkovski and co-founder Vanessa Liell; alongside activation and production company, Picha Group.

Mike Spirkovski, managing partner and co-founder, Rethink Everything said: “Our company vision is to empower everyone to drive and own a sustainable future. Partnering with Weare8 on Collaborate is exactly why we exist and are super excited to help accelerate the change we all so desperately need in our world.”

Additional services offered by WeAre8’s Collaborate will include cross channel ideation, strategy, activations, content production and licensing, along with bespoke insights into a growing segment known as generation changemaker – those who actively want to make the world a better place. The new division will also provide brands with a direct pipeline of creators who align with WeAre8’s sustainable and ethical ethos.

On the launch of Collaborate, WeAre8 Australia CEO Lizzie Young said, “The last few years have seen many people and many businesses completely rethink everything, and that’s what Collaborate is all about. We want to give clients the ability to be more conscious, have a lighter footprint on the planet, be more integrated into the community and to be more aware of our ability to collectively come together and make a positive impact on the world. To do this, you need to bring the right people to the table and that’s what Collaborate is all about.”

WeAre8 chief commercial officer, Danika Johnston added, “Collaborate will leverage our collective experience and unique product offering to respond to the needs of brands with solutions that drive business results and impact whilst putting sustainability at the core of our thinking.

“From the initial brief to the execution, we want to demonstrate to brands that making impactful decisions doesn’t need to mean more work, you just need to surround yourself with the partners.”

The Collaborate offering is replicated within WeAre8’s United Kingdom commercial arm, which will see the UK team partner with other future-facing, complimentary platforms and products that are producing fresh content and changing the game; including The GoodNet, and the podcast marketplace Acast.

Collaborate launches in the UK with French automobile brand, Citroën, as a foundation partner.
