Vogue Australia launches Forces of Fashion and Summer Ball for 2026

The events come with heavyweight commercial backing.

Vogue Australia is set to launch its first-ever Vogue Forces of Fashion event and Summer Ball in Sydney next February, assembling one of the most ambitious fashion-and-culture line-ups the local market has seen – backed by a slate of premium sponsors and a global-first program for the brand.

The day-to-night program will anchor Vogue Australia’s February 2026 issue, unveiling the year’s leading cultural and fashion “forces” through a half-day summit at the Sydney Opera House, followed by a harbourside Summer Ball.

The events come with heavyweight commercial backing.

Major partner Paspaley leads the charge, joined by Mastercard, Dyson and Belvedere Vodka as supporting partners – a luxury-leaning quartet that signals Vogue’s intent to broaden its experiential footprint.

General Manager, Events and Experiences, Diana Kay said the initiative builds on Vogue Australia’s expanding live-event strategy.

“Vogue Australia continues to define the standard for experiential marketing, giving consumers insider access while offering brands a powerful, prestige platform through bespoke programs, high-profile talent and highly engaged audiences,” she said.

She added that the program reflects international ambitions: “We’re excited about next year’s new events and the evolution of our program in line with Vogue’s global experiential plans.

“Paspaley was the visionary first mover who recognised the event’s potential from the very beginning. Together we will create unforgettable moments at the forefront of luxury and innovation.”

Paspaley calls it a natural alignment

Paspaley Group Executive Director James Paspaley said the partnership builds on the brand’s long-running creative heritage.

“Paspaley is immensely proud to be the first major partner of Vogue Australia’s inaugural Vogue Forces of Fashion,” he said.

“Our 90-year legacy is built on deep expertise in pearls, shaped by innovation, pioneering spirit, creativity, and adventure. The synergy between Vogue’s celebration of these values and our own made this partnership a natural alignment.”

He added that supporting the initiative underscores shared ambitions: “Supporting this global initiative – an Australian first – reflects our shared commitment to championing excellence at every touchpoint.”

Sarah Snook

A global-calibre speaker line-up

Vogue Australia has also revealed a world-leading slate of speakers for the summit.

Hailey Bieber, Adut Akech Bior, Sarah Snook, Joel Edgerton and photographer Lachlan Bailey will headline the Friday 13 February event.

They join Vogue Australia editorial director and publisher Edwina McCann, editor-in-chief Christine Centenera, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Catherine Martin, Rita Ora, Taika Waititi, Phoebe Tonkin, Nicky Zimmermann and Paspaley Creative Director Christine Salter.

Centenera said the event reflects the creative energy shaping culture now.

“Vogue Forces of Fashion Sydney is our opportunity to showcase the creatives shaping culture right now,” she said.

“With us at the Sydney Opera House in February is a line-up of some of the biggest names in fashion, beauty, music and film, recognition of both our homegrown talent and Australia’s ability to attract the best to our shores.”

A first-of-its-kind moment for the brand

Forces of Fashion – a global Vogue conversation series – will be tailored through an Australian lens, exploring the ideas and talent defining the next era of culture.

The Summer Ball will follow, serving as an exclusive celebration of Australia’s creative landscape through music, food, art, design and entertainment.

With its mix of global star power, luxury backing and a prestige venue partnership with the Sydney Opera House, Vogue Australia is positioning the February program as a defining moment in its experiential evolution – and a new premium fixture on the local cultural calendar.
